Job Description

Beaconhills College are seeking a Head of English (9-12) to join us at our Pakenham Campus in 2026.

The Head of English (9-12) is responsible for creating the conditions where teachers in the faculty can thrive, through an emphasis on reflective practice, continuous improvement and collaboration.

The Head of English leads a team of teachers in the design and delivery of high quality, effective, and meaningful curriculum, learning, pedagogy and evidence of learning.

The successful applicant must thrive on working as part of a dynamic team of dedicated professionals who are committed to fostering excellence in their students.

  • Commencing January 2026
  • This is a full time, ongoing position
  • This position is at our Pakenham Campus
  • The Head of English (9-12) position of responsibility has a tenure of 3 years
  • This role comes with an allowance of $10,696 per annum (included in advertised salary) and 6 periods of time release per cycle
