Beaconhills College is an open-entry, co-educational College offering outstanding holistic education opportunities from Early Learning to Year 12. The College currently has over 3000 students across two campuses in Pakenham and Berwick, which are organised into sub-schools; Early Learning, Junior, Middle, Year 9 and Senior Schools.

The role of the Receptionist is primarily to provide communication services for the entire College and customer service and administration support to the Business Management, Enrolments, Finance, Human Resources and Marketing teams. 

  • This is a part time, ongoing position commencing 23 June 2025 or by negotiation
  • The working hours for this position are Monday - Friday 12:30pm to 5:00pm (22.5 hours per week)
  • This position is based at the Pakenham Campus
  • This position requires a current employee WWCC and Police Check (issued within the last 3 months)
  • This role is entitled to 4 weeks of Annual Leave and works during the School Holidays

Selection Criteria

  • Demonstrated experience in an reception/administrative role in a busy setting
  • Possess an excellent knowledge of contemporary software programs and skills and experience in the use of computerised database systems
  • Demonstrated high-level communication skills, including the ability to draft and edit documentation
  • Possess excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact effectively with a range of customers, including parents, students, staff and suppliers
  • Possess the maturity to deal with people at all levels of the organisation
  • Confidence administering first aid (experience desirable)
  • Familiarity with the operation of schools (desirable)
