Position
Our Early Learning Centre, Little Beacons, are seeking a Centre Manager to join the Berwick team.
The primary purpose of this role is to oversee the daily operation of the Centre and to provide support and leadership to all Little Beacons staff and families. A knowledge of curriculum delivery and child development is essential to this role. The Centre Manager will support a range of staff to coordinate activity that brings together all the elements of the Little Beacons programs.
- This is a part time contract position
- Working Thursday & Friday. The two working days may be flexible but must be consecutive.
- Commencing 6 January 2025 and concluding 19 December 2025
- The hours of work are 8:30am to 5:00pm each day, inclusive of a 54 minute unpaid lunch break
- The salary range for this role is $33,091 to $38,506 pa
- Little Beacons Berwick is an 'Exceeding' rated service
Key duties
• Provide a professional point of contact for families and staff
• Assist in the ongoing development and implementation of Little Beacons programs
• Liaise with the Operations Coordinator to ensure effective management of staff absences and centre operations
• Provide leadership while working as a member of a cooperative team
• Undertake all requirements of the National Regulations associated with the care and education of children and act as a primary nominee in the absence of the licensee.
